Sound Production and Digital Media Design
Sound Production
Students will learn about sound production careers, the basics of the physics of sound, and the elements of sound design. Through Soundtrap, they will learn to:
- Record and alter voices
- Create sound effects
- Layer sounds
- Compose a song
- Create mood using sounds
- Create a story using sounds and music
Digital Media Design
Students will learn how to use drawing tools on a digital platform. Students will explore digital elements and principles of art and design. Students will learn how to:
- Create a graphic design
- Draw figures in various poses
- Practice using drawing apps like autodesk sketchbook
- Create a digital self portrait
- Design their own character
- Create a digital storyboard and book
- Create a sculpture for stop motion animation
Performing Arts and Digital Art
Introduction to Performing Arts
Students will learn about a variety of Performing Arts, such as:
- Dance
- Music
- Opera
- Comedy
- Circus Arts
- Cultural Arts
- Fantasy
Digital Art 1
Students will learn interview skills, credible news sources, research, and questioning skills for the future school news show.
Digital Art 2
Students will learn video editing skills and how to record school news shows.
Digital Art 3
Students will produce a school news show and skits.
